The Notorious B.I.G

Christopher George Latore Wallace was an American rapper also known as Biggie Smalls, best known for The Notorious B.I.G. After the film King of New York in 1990, he was also known as Big Poppa and The Black Frank White. Biggie Smalls was considered the best American rapper ever, Biggie made history. Wallace was born on May 21, 1972, was murdered when he was 24. Biggies murder case remains unsolved. Wallace was going to meet Shaquille O Neil, a close friend of Chris. The shooting happened after leaving a party, a car pulled up on his side and ran a drive-by. Biggie was shot. The Brooklyn streets were shocked and were devastated with what happened. In middle school, Biggie was succeeding in school and won several awards as an English student. At the age of 12, Wallace began to sell drugs and his mother, which was often away at work did not know her son was a drug dealer till he was an adult. He began to grow a smart-ass attitude when he transfered out of private school. At seventeen, Wallace dropped out of high school and moved on further into crime. He was arrested in 1989 on weapons charges in Brooklyn and was sentenced to five year probation. In 1990, he was arrested for violating his probation. Twelve month later, he was arrested in North Carolina for dealing crack cocain, spending nine months behind bars until being bailed out. Smalls began to rap when he was a teenager. He would entertain the people of the hood and on the streets. Biggie Smalls had meaning to his rap and inspired a lot of people.
