50 cent is known as Curtis James Jackson III, born on July 6, 1975 (age 36). 50 cent is his stage name. He is a American rapper, entrepreneur, investor, record producer and actor. The release of Get Rich or Die Tryin in 2003, raised his fame. Curtis began to drug deal at the age of twelve. He was born in South Jamaica, Queens. In 2000, he was shot nine times during an incident. Curtis survived after being shot. Curtis was discovered by rapper Eminem and got signed to Interscope Records. After being signed, Eminem and Dr. Dre produced his first commercial, he then became one of the world's highest selling rappers ever. Curtis founded G-Unit Records, which has also signed successful rappers, Young buck, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo. 50 is also an actor and has  made several movies about his life and about the game.

Curtis James grew up in a hard life, went through the drug game, the killing and too hold his family on his back. Success was what he wanted and its what he got. When Curtis had his first child, Marquise Jackson, his priorities changed and wanted a relationship that he didnt have with his father as a child.
