He was born in Coahoma County, Mississipi and was raised in Carol City, Florida. Rick Ross attended Albany State University on a football scholarship after graduating from Carol City Senior High. Rick Ross is known as a billion dollar boss. He is the top in the rap game and none can reach his level. Ross was a correctional officer at the South Florida Reception Center and did not admit it until later on. Ross said he did work as a correctional officer during the early 90's, in Florida. Ross made none stop mixtapes and albums to keep his music going and for making millions.
